Evangelist Adesikeola Ajiboye has on Sunday January 8th unveiled her maiden album at a colorful event held at ECWA Chapel Ilorin.
At the launch of the three-track album which coincided with Ajiboye’s 40th birthday, she admonished gospel singers not to trade quality and spiritual messages for popularity and pecuniary gains because “soul lifting and inspiring songs are highly needed in our society”.
According to her, “when God gave me the idea and I began to gather these ancient hymns of worship and praise, I gave it my best because the album is to inspire and draw the hearts of men to their God.
The mother of one, who doubles as the Press Secretary Kwara State Min of Social Development urged anyone with a vision not to allow work or family demands stifle life out of their god given dreams, rather they should learn how to create balance.
She further charged parents to train up their children in the way of the Lord while encouraging them to learn spiritual songs instead of morally depraved lyrics flying around.
Ireoluwa Ajiboye, the daughter of the celebrant who made a special presentation in songs also admonished children to pursue God from childhood.
The album which was dedicated by the UMCA President Rev. Dr. Olugbemiga Odebiri had as a Special Guest of honour, His Excellency the Deputy Governor of Kwara State represented by Elder Edward Babalola.
Also in attendance at the event where Pastor Toyin Olawumi of Rhema Chapel International Churches delivered the sermon was HRM, Oloba of Oba and HRH Olowu of Owu Isin.
