I read with disappointment, the fake news circulating the social media.
The author of this fake news is not only a mischief maker, but also bereaved of facts, realities and happenings in Kwara PDP.
For the purpose of clarity, there was no state congress anywhere in the state today. What we held today were Ward Congresses which witnessed a peaceful and massive turnout across the 193 wards of Kwara State.
However, it’s laughable for some Customized Buffoons to purport fallacies in order to mislead the general public after all their efforts to create artificial crisis fell on a flat belly.
The PDP is an organised party under the leadership of the former Senate President and National Leader of the party, Dr Abubakar Bukola Saraki CON, Wazirin Gerin Ilorin.
Of course, in any democratic society, there may be pockets of disagreement here and there, but the ability to solve issues using the internal mechanisms of the party, is what stands the PDP above all other political parties in the country.
Therefore, I urge all our party members and teaming supporters to discountenance this fake news and be more focused as the PDP is the party to beat anytime, anyday.
While I appreciate our members for their commitment and maturity before, during and after the congresses, I wish to express my profound gratitude to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and all the security agencies for ensuring a smooth, peaceful and hitch free ward congresses across the state.
