The Kwara State Signage and Advertisement Agency (KWASAA), has assured that it will be fair and just to politicians and political parties during the forthcoming 2023 electioneering processes in the State.
The Director-General (DG) of the Agency, Hon. Olorunshola Omotayo gave the assurance while featuring on Oyato, a radio discussion programme of the Royal fm, Ilorin.
Reacting to an allegation by a caller, Omotayo said the State Governor, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq gave the agency a free hand to operate and had also mandated it to work in accordance with the extant rules and regulations establishing the agency.
According to DG, the Governor is never a biased person and has always been straight forward in any matter regarding politics and religion.
He, however, urged members of the public to shelve the notion that the agency would support a particular political party, group or religion over another.
Omotayo also called on the public to always come to the agency for clarification and better understanding on any matter related to signage and outdoor structures in the State.
