The Kwara State Signage and Advertisement Agency (KWASSA), has reiterated its readiness to partner with any progressive individuals and corporate organizations that are ready for the growth and development of the State.
The Director General (DG) of KWASAA, Hon. Olorunshola Omotayo made this known while receiving a Lagos based advertising agency, E-motion Advertising Limited in his office.
The DG described Kwara as a fast growing state economically in recent times, noting that several strategies had been put in place to improve outdoors advertising among other sectors of the economy.
Omotayo stressed the need for kwarans to appreciate the contributions of the outdoor advertising in boosting the economy of the state, adding that the agency would not renege in its efforts to assist the state government to achieve its beatification and renewal programmes.
Earlier, the team leader of the advertising firm, Mrs. Sophie Ejegi said members of her team were in the State for site inspection to look into areas of opportunities where outdoor advertising practitioners could invest in the country.
The KWASAA DG in company of the representatives of Kwara Harmony Holdings and Kwara State Investment Promotion Agency (KWIPA), later conducted the team round some sites within the Ilorin metropolis.
The visit took the team to Eyenkorin roundabout, Gerin Alimi underpass down to General Hospital Ilorin, and the Queen School frontage, where the visiting team acknowledged the great potentials in the places visited that needed to be converted to revenue for the state.
Other places visited were the Solar farm at the new Yidi Road, Tanke, Fate, GSS/Agric roundabout, along Old Jebba road in Ilorin, Kwarapoly and UITH gates for possible investment in outdoor investment structures in the state.
At Oja-oba/Emir’s Palace- Surulere and Oja-Tuntun axis, the team was considering a Fast Moving Commodity Goods ( FMCG ) for the area as it promised to write its report to the office and get back as soon as possible.
