As the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kwara State prepares to unveil its candidates for the upcoming Local Government Election, a leading aspirant, Hon. Abdul-Hameed Oladipupo Alli, popularly known as Mr. Nigeria, has appealed to all aspirants to accept the outcome of the party’s screening exercise in good faith.
Mr Nigeria, who is contesting for the Ilorin West Local Government Council’s chairmanship, urged contestants to embrace the spirit of sportsmanship by accepting God’s will in all human affairs. “It is important to consent to a unanimous decision over personal interest and to give way to God’s chosen in the interest of all,” he added.
Hon. Alli said, “Everyone deserves the opportunity to lead, but not everyone is destined to do so. Let’s allow our genuine loyalty to our leader, Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, to manifest in our party’s primaries and beyond.
“I hope we will continue to uphold the party’s constitutional rules and regulations to maintain everlasting peace and progress within the party and in our dear state. May Almighty God bless all of us.”
