SWAN Media Games: Herald shocks Sobi Fm in football as Radio Kwara wins more Medals

Team Radio Kwara has won more Medals at the ongoing fifth Kwara SWAN Media Games as the games end tomorrow.

Damilola Adegbola of Radio Kwara won two silver in Scrabble and Chess while Raliat Ibrahim of NTA won Gold in both events.

In volleyball, Radio defeated Herald and Kwara TV in two straight sets to qualify for the final but the final against NTA was not decided as NTA were alleged of using Proxy

In football, Radio Kwara defeated Unilorin two goals to nothing with goals from Victor Adetoyi and Ahmed Mohammed enough for Radio Kwara to qualify for the semi final .

In other games, Herald walloped Sobi FM by three goals to one, Correspondent lost to Harmony FM by two goals to nil.

Radio Kwara will play Herald in the first Semi final by ten o Clock in the morning while Harmony FM will confront State Information at half past ten.

Meanwhile, the Closing Ceremony of the Games will hold tomorrow beginning from three o clock in the afternoon.

Governor AbdulRahaman AbdulRazaq is expected as the Special guest of honour while Chief Executives of all the Media organisations in the State will also grace the occasion.

The four day sporting events will come to a climax with presentation of medals to winners.
