YULETIDE: Follow COVID protocols, Mustafa urges residents … as ODU holds AGM

The National Publicity Secretary of the Omupo Descendants Union (ODU), Mallam Mustafa Abubakar Gaata, has urged all sons and daughters of Omupo Land, to always go about their legitimate businesses and other assigned functions, especially during this years Yuletide festivals, with their nose mask and other COVID-19 protocols.

Mallam Mustafa made this call today while speaking with newsmen in Ilorin on the forthcoming Omupo Descendants Union’s  Annual General Meeting (ODU-AGM 2021), scheduled to hold on Tuesday, 28th December 2021 at the town’s St. Michael Anglican Primary School open field by 11:00am.

The National Publicity Secretary, who is the immediate past Vice-Chairman of Kwara State Council of the Nigeria Union of Journalists(NUJ) disclosed that it is highly important to charge all Omupo residents to abide by the simple rules, especially when considering the rate at wish people are contacting the deadly disease across the country.

“Let me remind all sons and daughters of Omupo Land in Ifelodun Local Government of Kwara State, that as they go about attending to their various activities in this Yuletide period in the town and outside, they should  remember to use nose mask and make their day full with proceedings in line with all COVID-19 rules”, he said.

He also reminded all Deputy Vice President of the Union that as they  are  mobilizing adequate attendance from their branches to come home for various activities including the meeting, they should also remember that Omupo needs all round support of all sons and daughters, within and outside the country.

Mallam Mustafa, who  thanked them for their support all these years, wished them God’s  blessings as they do more for the development of the town.
