The Chairman of Action Democratic Party (ADP), Kwara State Chapter, Comrade Lukman Adeshina Ajisafe said that the party has concluded every necessary arrangement to ensure a hitch-free state Congress scheduled for Saturday, February 26, 2022.
The Congress which will be held at Plot 9 Block B, Umar Audi Road, beside Mirabilis Hotel, CE Building, GRA, Ilorin, will begin from 12:00pm prompt.
Speaking with Daily Links, Ajisafe promised to conduct a credible and violence-free State Congress.
While encouraging delegates to arrive at the venue of the Congress on time, he urged them to conduct themselves in a peaceful and orderly manner and eschew any form of violence.
According to him, “the party is fully prepared to conduct a hitch-free State Congress. The security agencies had been informed of the exercise, while the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has been duly notified”.
Ajisafe, who emphasized on the three agenda of ADP as all inclusive governance, democratic empowerment of youth and women and party supremacy, said that the party has envisioned for Nigeria and Kwara State true trajectories of development that no one will be left behind.
“ADP is anchored on transparency, responsibility, endurance, innovation, honestly, inclusion among other leadership responsibilities that will deliver dividends of democracy to Nigerians and Kwarans in particular, if voted into power”, he added.
