FOMWAN condoles Emir of Ilorin, Muslim Ummah on passing of Grand Chief Imam of Ilorin

The Federation of Muslim Women’s Associations in Nigeria (FOMWAN) expresses its deepest condolences to our father, the Emir of Ilorin, His Royal Highness, Alhaji (Dr.) Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, CFR, the Ilorin Emirate Council, the Muslim Ummah, and the entire people of the Ilorin Emirate on the demise of the Chief Imam of Ilorin, Sheikh Muhammad Bashir Saliu, OON.

The late Chief Imam was a revered spiritual leader whose life exemplified unwavering devotion to faith, moral uprightness, and the tireless promotion of peace and communal harmony.

He served not only as a foremost religious authority but also as a powerful stabilizing force, whose wise counsel and exemplary conduct fostered unity, tolerance, and mutual respect across the Ilorin Emirate and far beyond.

FOMWAN acknowledges the immense contributions of the late Chief Imam to the spiritual and social development of Ilorin and its environs.
