The Ilorin Emirates Medical Doctors Association has felicitated with Alhaji Abdulkadir Mahamud, a former Councillor of Oke-Ogun Ward, as the Alangua of Oke-ogun

In a congratulatory message, signed by the President of the association, Dr Saheed Jimoh, on Friday in Ilorin, the association also praised Emir of Ilorin, Dr. Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari for the turbanning.

The doctors who felicitate with Alhaji Abdulkadir Mahamud as the new Alangua, extend their warmest goodwill.

They described the trubanning as well deserved while praying for Allah’s guidance on the new post conferred on him.

“This prestigious recognition is a testament to Alhaji Mahamud’s exemplary leadership, dedication, and selfless service to the community.

“We pray that Allah continues to guide and bless him with wisdom, strength, and prosperity as he assumes this noble title,” they said.

The Alangua of Oke-Ogun is a traditional title under the leadership of Balogun Fulani of Ilorin.
