The Congress of Isanlu-Isin Development Association (IIDA), in Isin Local Government Area of Kwara State, has elected and sworn-in new leadership to run its affairs for the next five years.
In an election which formed part of the Annual General Meeting of the Association, was attended by the monarch, His Royal Majesty, Oba (Dr.) Solomon Olugbenga Oloyede and all his Chiefs.
The elected officers were: President, Pastor Adebayo Femi; Deputy President, Barrister Jacob Ayanda; Vice President, Mrs Abigail Aremu; Vice President Abuja/North; Segun Ajide; Vice President(Lagos), David Awodibu; and National Secretary, Sunday Ajide.
Assistant Secretary, Taiye Aina; Treasurer, Omoniyi Afolayan; Financial Secretary, Samuel Abifarin; Public Relations Officer, Lekan Fadeyi, as well as Kayode Olaoye as Social Secretary/Welfare Secretary.
Others include Barrister Iyiola Olatunde Oyedepo Jnr.and Tunde Adeniyi as Legal Adviser and Internal Auditor respectively.
Five ex-officio members including National President of the Isanlu-Isin Youth Forum, Mr. Oluwole Aboderin, representing Osun/Ondo, and three other members of past executive councils, are to serve as Ex officio members in the new dispensation.
In his acceptance speech, the president, Pastor Femi Adebayo thanked the members for considering him suitable by electing him. He promised to do his best, striving tirelessly to bring about much needed development in all facets and moving the community to the next level where she can compete favourably in the committee of towns in Kwara south lwith God on his side.
