An Ilorin based Islamic cleric and spiritual leader of Al-haraakatu Islamiyyah Movement of Nigeria, Amir AbdurRazzaq Abdulwahhab Aladodo Al-Amin had urged Muslims to accept the burden of calling the lost mankind to righteous path as their necessary religious duties.
Amir AbdurRazzaq Abdulwahhab Aladodo Al-Amin made this call recently at the Movement’s commemoration of the 2025’s (1446) Quads Day which took place at Oja-Oba Central Mosque, Ilorin Kwara State.
They were charged to struggle and contend against the forces of globalization and secular humanism spreading all over the world.
Amir AbdurRazzaq Abdulwahhab Aladodo Al-Amin in his sermon titled “Rebellion and Its Consequences: Reflection On Human Nature” noted that this year’s commemoration of Quads Day (1446) emphasizes and focuses so much on darkness of globalization and secular humanism being promoted by the Western civilization.
He reiterated that the darkness is overwhelming and total, stressing it constitutes an obstacle to the light of Islam.
This year’s Quads Day commemoration themed ”Deviation from the Divine Path: The Grave Consequences Ahead” according to Amir AbdurRazzaq Abdulwahhab Aladodo Al-Amin was a wakeup call to genuine Muslims to be aware of the formidable foes in Western civilization they must struggle against and contend with.
He noted that it is the moral duties of the Islamic scholars and movements to take up the challenges of calling the lost mankind to righteous path, reiterating that humankind due to his gift of free will had willfully deviated from the divine path.
The Islamic cleric stressed that rebellion is natural to man as total submission and obedience to the wills of Allah is also innate to him.
He emphasized that Allah does not impose His wills on man but allows him to choose between the paths of obedience and disobedience out of his freedom of choice.
He told the gathering that for every true worshipper of Allah who wants to spread His messages and carry out his commandments, there must be an enemy that will oppose and antagonize him.
The religious leader stressed that genuine Muslims must not expect an easy and comfortable ride in the righteous path of Allah without strong challenges and oppositions from the enemies of Allah who willfully disobey Him.
He reiterated that Allah could have made all his creatures including mankind to appear similar and tread only one and common path.
But Allah did not do so according to Amir AbdurRazzaq Abdulwahhab Aladodo Al-Amin, but rather accorded man with a gift of free will, thus making him a moral agent to freely choose his path for which there are consequences in the hereafter.
He said genuine Muslims should thank Allah for selecting them as his obedient servants, saying his generation of Islamic clerics had good upbringings from their parents who consciously protected them against yesterday’s darkness.
The Islamic cleric stressed that this was what prepared them for today’s challenges, noted however that today’s darkness is stronger than yesterday’s.
He reiterated that today’s darkness is overwhelming, total and ubiquitously everywhere.
With formidable Western technology, its widespread cultures and economic powers, he charged that Islam and genuine Muslims have a formidable foes to contend with.
He appealed to today’s parents to double their efforts in protecting their children and Islamic civilization and culture.
He lamented the moral decadence and social vices that have eaten deep into the fabrics of society and family.
Amir AbdurRazzaq Abdulwahhab Aladodo Al-Amin observed that individual, family and society have enormous roles to play in upholding Islamic teachings and principles to reform the decadent humankind and the world.
He reiterated that moral decadence and social vices such as corruption, gay rights and lesbianism, bisexual and transgender, financial and economic mismanagement, bad governance, lawlessness among others are challenges haunting mankind today.
The Islamic cleric stressed that no secular government could correct these problems facing mankind, reiterating that only Islamic government based on Islamic teachings could solve the problems.
The Islamic Movement, Al-haraakatu Islamiyyah Movement of Nigeria in commemorating the 2025 Quads Day(1446)had earlier issued a press release titled “Deviation from the Divine Path: A Grave Consequences Ahead” in which it proffered solutions to the aforementioned moral decadence and social vices.
It emphasized that it is only Islamic government based on Islamic teachings could solve the problems.
Answering questions from newsmen that asked if it is secularism that should be blamed for the moral decadence and social vices or man as a moral agent who was supposed to use his free will to tread righteous path but did not do so, Mallam Ishaq Muhammad Jamiu blamed man.
He told the reporter that the world became morally decayed because man willfully deviated from the divine path. Mallam Aminu Jato in his own opinion blamed secularism, saying though man created secularism. It however corrupted him.
