Kwara State Teaching Service Commission (TESCOM) Executive Chairman Mall Bello Tauheed Abubakar has announced Thursday October 30th, 2025 for the conduct of the 2025 CBT promotion examination for the staff of the Commission.
Speaking at a brief meeting with the Management yesterday, the Chairman, who commended Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq for approving the proposal, acknowledged the fact that TESCOM is the first Parastatal of Government to conduct a Computer Based Promotion Examination for its staff.
He said teachers ought to be properly prepared for the CBT process now that examination bodies like WAEC and NECO have said their examinations will be conducted using CBT.
He added that since His Excellency is the Chairman Nigeria Governors’ Forum, this drive and new initiative should start from his State.
Speaking about the level of preparation for the exercise, he noted that the examination will commence be 9:00am at the Kwara State College of Education CBT Center. Therefore, all participants are to come to the centre with the original certificates of all their credentials and be at the venue 30 minutes to the time allocated to each candidate.
He added that the staff should submit their information to the attached link tescom.kwarastate.gov.ng as the portal opens 12am on 17th October, 2025.
The statement added that any staff who is not captured will not be allowed to write the promotion examination.
He also admonished all participants to note that, immediately after the CBT exercise, interviews will be conducted at the same venue with officers presenting their Enhancement Certificate or Clearance before being interviewed.
