Olusin of Isanlu Isin Directs Profiling of Non-Indigenes to Enhance Community Security

by Editor

In response to growing security concerns in Isanlu Isin and its environs, the Olusin of Isanlu Isin and Chairman, Isin Traditional Council, His Royal Highness, Oba (Dr.) Solomon Olugbenga Oloyede, has directed all subjects and residents of the community and Isin in general to immediately profile non-indigenes residing within their domains.

According to Kabiyesi, this measure has become imperative to ascertain the true identities of residents, distinguish those with genuine ties to the community, and identify individuals with questionable backgrounds who may pose a security threat. He emphasized that such individuals will be promptly handed over to law enforcement agencies, while only law-abiding residents will be accommodated.

Speaking during a series of meetings held with community stakeholders, including chiefs, women, youths, ward heads, vigilantes, and representatives of non-indigenous groups, the monarch reiterated the standing order that strangers or unidentified visitors will not be tolerated.

He noted that safeguarding the bushes and forests around the town is critical to preventing attacks and ensuring peace in the community.

He urged all residents to remain vigilant, promptly share security-related information, and support efforts aimed at keeping Isanlu Isin safe.

In addition, the monarch reassured the public, genuine, peace-loving residents or business owners, that their concerns will be protected, indigenes and non-indigenes alike.

He emphasized that all law-abiding persons who contribute positively to the growth of Isanlu Isin have nothing to fear, and that the unity and harmony of the town remain paramount.
