The Coordinator of Islamic Welfare Foundation (IWF), Kwara state chapter, Honorable Is’hak Mohammed Sabi has charged all the Muslims to engage in special deeds that will make them to receive a special rewards from Almighty Allah in this world and hereafter.
Hon. Sabi, a former Commissioner for Information, Kwara State, made this known in an interview after the Tafsir Qur’an program organized by the Foundation held at its secretariat, Owoniboys, Ibrahim Taiwo Road, Ilorin.
He hammered that, every Muslim should strive to do something out of ordinary for themselves to move closer to Allah and be one of His beloved.
“Every Muslim should strive to do something out of the ordinary, something special for himself or herself that will make them to receive mercy the of Allah.”
He explained further that, apart from five daily prayers, Zakat, Fasting, and Hajj which Muslims always engage themselves for hereafter rewards, they should make extra effort to do something special that will stand them out on the day of Judgement.
“Muslim should think. What is that thing, that you can do, that others have not done before which will stand for you before Allah. That will be on record that Allah will say yes you have done something extra for the sake of Allah and Islam.“
Hon. Sabi, also urged Muslims to sacrifice everything they have for Allah, including their life, knowledge, wealth.
“Dedicate everything that Allah gave you to the course of Allah.”
He called on every Muslim in the state to attend IWF Tafsir-li-Qur’an and drink from the river of knowledge of Islamic scholars to boost their knowledge about Allah.
He described the gathering as a means to treat critical issues in the society, and the Foundation searched for Islamic Scholars to address and explain issues in a way for people to know extraordinary things in Islam.
“Tafsir is not just a recitation of Qur’an, but to explain the recitation of the Qur’an. It is meaning behind every aspect, every verse of the Quran, every chapter of the Qur’an. Every word of the Qur’an. When you get the knowledge, it’s only then you can apply. That’s why Islamic Welfare Foundation create this platform.
“I want to use this opportunity to call Muslim all around the state to come together, to share, to drink from the pull of knowledge. As it’s always delivered by our chief Missioners. Shaikh Dr. Yusuf kolawole Jumu’a. The shaikh is one of the first line students of shaikh Adam Abdullah Al-Alory.”
Hon. Sabi said further that, all personalities in IWF are all Professionals and the platform provide opportunities to Professionals, to dedicated class to contribute to the development of Islam and enhance their understanding of the faith.
Earlier, the guest lecturer, Shaikh Yusuf kolawole Jumu’a charged Muslims to rededicate themselves to Allah and make fear of Allah their watchword.
He advised the true believers to shun all acts capable of making them incur the wrath of God.
He also stressed the importance of five daily prayers and urged Muslims to observe the prayers regularly and adhere strictly to the rules guiding them.
Not only that, but he pointed out the only difference between Muslims and Non-Muslims is solat.
Furthermore, he said the first thing to be asked after in the hereafter is solat.
