Admission into various academic programs of The Polytechnic Igbo-Owu is presently open to various categories of candidates seeking tertiary education admission, the management of the institution has said in a statement, signed by Dr.Moses Adeyemi.

The Polytechnic advised Interested candidates willing to pursue an academic program at the Institution to obtain an application form from the institution at a nonrefundable fee of #5000 for the National Diploma (ND) program, and #10,000 for the Higher National Diploma (HND) program.

It said courses available for both the OND and HND programs of two years duration each, include: Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Accountancy, and Statistics.

Others are Public Administration, Marketing, Science Laboratory Technology (SLT), Mass Communication, Catering Hotel Management, Business Administration, and Management.

It added that the requirement for ND is five Credit in relevant ‘ O LEVEL’ subjects of study, including English Language, and Mathematics in WAEC, NECO, NABTEB, and equivalent, while candidates for the HND program will require ND in relevant courses of study with one year Industrial Training (IT) experience as qualification for admission.
