Meanwhile, the sprawling permanent site, covering 58.3 hectares of land, is positioned between Igbo-Owu, Idofian, and Igbaja Road in the Ifelodun Local Government Area of Kwara State, Nigeria. This expansive land parcel is meticulously designed to accommodate the approved master plan of the institution, aligning with the standards set by the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE).
The Polytechnic Igbo-Owu is duly incorporated as a limited liability company under the COMPANIES AND ALLIED MATTERS ACT 1990, bearing the distinguished corporate name, THE POLYTECHNIC IGBO-OWU LTD.
Since its inception in 2014, The Polytechnic Igbo-Owu has been at the forefront of private polytechnic education in Ilorin, Kwara State. The polytechnic’s journey commenced at its initial campus in Osere/Asa-Dam, which continues to serve as its temporary campus.
