The Gubernatorial candidate of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) Alh. Hakeem Oladimeji Lawal has mourned the demise of Hon. Mogaji Olawoyin, member representing Magaji ‘n’ Geri constituency of Ilorin West local government, at the Kwara State House of Assembly.

Lawal while reacting to the death of the lawmaker who is also the candidate of All Progressives Congress (APC) for the March 11 general elections, charged politicians to always live by not being oblivious of death, stressing that all opportunities to leave a lasting and worthy legacy must be optimized.

According to a press statement signed by the Deputy Director, Media and Strategic Communications, SDP/Hakeem Lawal Campaign Organization, Abdulrasheed Akogun, “the international financial expert commiserated with the immediate and extended family of the deceased, his constituency, the Kwara State House of Assembly, and the All Progressives Congress”.

Lawal equally prayed Allah to accept his return, forgive his shortcomings and grant his family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
