The inaugural Hon. Justice Ahmad Belgore(Retd) Annual Human Capital Development Lecture will take place on Monday at the Conference Hall of the Shariah Court of Appeal, Ilorin, at 11am. The lecture, organized by Treasury Ventures, publishers of Kwara People Magazine, will hold in honour of Justice Belgore, who recently retired from the Court of Appeal after serving for many years.
The event is expected to be attended by notable figures, including the Governor of Kwara State, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, who has been invited as a Special Guest of Honour, and the Chief Judge of Kwara State, Hon. Justice A. A. Adebara, who will chair the occasion. The Grand Khadi of the Shariah Court of Appeal, Ilorin Hon. Justice Abdul Lateef Kamaldeen, will be the Guest Speaker, and Hon. Justice Masooud Oredola of the Court of Appeal will deliver the keynote address among other notable Nigerians.
The day’s events will also include the launching of an audio CD titled “Mr. Nigeria 4 Justice Belgore” and goodwill messages from notable figures such as the Chief Imam of Ilorin, Sheikh Muhammad Bashir Salih, and Alhaja Sinatu Aderoju Ojikutu, the first elected female deputy governor in Nigeria.
Guests of Honour includes the Permanent Secretary of the Federal Ministry of Interior, Dr. Yinka Belgore, an Executive Director of the Rural Electrification Board, Hajia Saadat Kawu, and CEO of Fiolu Pharmacy, Apostle Oluwole Awotuyi.
