The Kwara for Kwara Movement has yesterday inaugurated a consultation committee which is saddled with the responsibility of consulting with relevant political stakeholders, elder statesmen among others.
It would be recalled the group, had at its widely publicized press conference held at NUJ few weeks back had promised to set up a Youth-centric committee that will, after due consultation come up with a pro-masses and youth-bias path to take come 2023 elections.
Announcing the composition of the committee after it’s meeting at its GRA, Onikanga secretariat, the Convener Alh. Ishola Moshood popularly known as Pascal said “The movement has set up a 9 man consultation committee with the mandate to interact, consult and weigh various political options on the table for the Kwara youth and young professionals.
“They’re mandated to meet with various political parties with the aim of determining which can best accommodate the political vision, mission and aspiration of the Kwara youth and young professionals.
“Meet with societal opinion moulders, statesmen and all relevant political and apolitical stakeholders, towards ensuring the movement takes a well informed, popular and bankable political move towards rescuing the State from the present (mis)managers.
“Come up with the political options, alternatives and realities open to the Kwara youth, with heavy reliance on SWOT Analysis of all variables.“
The Committee is to be chaired by Comr. Issa Mutolib Ayobami, a tested and trusted conscientious youth of the ABU zaria egalitarian school of thought, he is from Ilorin East local government area of Kwara State.
Other members of the committee includes, Comr. Ibrahim Sheriff Gold, Comr. Benjamin Adekunle, Felix Apole, Almajiri Umar Farouq, Musa Yunusa Ubandawaki among others.
The group has three (3) months to submit its report to the movement, for deliberation and considerations in line with the preparations for the fast approaching 2023 elections.
