The Kwara for Kwara Movement, on Thursday met with the Hon. Bashiru Omolaja Bolarinwa led Kwara All Progressives Congress (APC) executive at its Reservation road secretariat, GRA, Ilorin.
In an interactive meeting that lasted about 2hours, the Kwara for Kwara Movement expressed dismay at the spate of sociopolitical development in the State, noting that political actors need to come alive from their complacency to ensure the ugly tide is stemmed.
During his remarks, the Chairman consultative committee of the group, Issa Mutolib Ayobami noted that more is required from the leadership of the Party in the State to sustain the principles and ideals that gave impetus to the gunless political revolution of 2019 in Kwara state.
In his reaction, Hon. Bashiru Omolaja Bolarinwa noted that “the Party is working round the clock to ensure the party remain indivisible and united, as that is the only way we can win for the people.”
“Yes, there are obvious challenges confronting the party, which has affected the delivery of good governance in accordance with the manifesto of the Party, but with perseverance and determination, it shall be surmounted sooner or later”, he said.
Bolarinwa lauded Kwara tor Kwara’s efforts, describing the brains behind it as young people of strong intellectual capacity and passion for a better Kwara, whilst urging the group to come forth with workable political plans and solutions that will rescue Kwara from its current retrogressive trend.
