He currently serves as the CEO and Managing Editor of Daily Links Digital Media, a development-driven platform dedicated to credible journalism, civic enlightenment, and community-focused storytelling.
Omotayo began his professional journey at The Herald Newspaper, one of Kwara State’s legacy print institutions, where he built a strong foundation in news reporting, editorial work, and public-interest journalism. Over the years, his dedication to truth, accountability, and ethical reporting positioned him as a respected figure within the media community.
His commitment to professional excellence earned him election as the Secretary of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Kwara State Council, where he played an instrumental role in strengthening the union’s administrative structures, promoting press freedom, and enhancing the welfare of journalists across the state.

He has collaborated with NGOs, civil society organizations, and development partners on projects advancing human rights, rule of law, transparency, and digital literacy.
As the head of Daily Links Digital Media, he is driving an ambitious transformation agenda aimed at positioning the platform among Nigeria’s top media institutions, excelling in news reporting, multimedia production, digital innovation, and community engagement. His leadership has expanded the organization’s influence through the creation of initiatives such as the Community Voice Network (CVN) and participation in international convenings like UNESCO’s Internet for Trust Global Dialogue.
