The Kwara State Social Democratic Party Gubernatorial Candidate, Alhaji Hakeem Oladimeji Lawal has commiserated with the cerebral politician and elder-statesman in the State, Chief Akogun Iyiola Oyedepo over the death of his mother, Madam Comfort Oyedepo who died at the late hours of Sunday at the age of 93.
While praying for the repose of her great soul, Alhaji Lawal also extolled the good virtues and values the deceased deposited in her children and equally thanked God for a life well-spent.
According to him, “we share with you, this moment of grief and sense of loss of a precious jewel of a mother. She is no doubt a great motivator and mentor who imbibed a lot of great virtues that made you a great manager of men and resources and a shinning star that attracted a lot of followers.
“Our thoughts are definitely with you at this difficult time and despite the huge loss, we are consoled by the exemplary life of your dear mother, who has been an integral part of your journey of life.
“Mama will be dearly missed but we pray that her soul will find a comfortable rest with her Maker. And may the Almighty God grant the entire family the fortitude to bear this great loss “
