- APC Stakeholders Endorse Mr Nigeria’s Aspirations

A frontline aspirant in the forthcoming local government election in Kwara, on the platform of the All Progressive Congress (APC), Hon.Abdulhameed Oladipupo Alli has solidified his aspiration by submitting letter of intent to the state secretariat of APC, Saturday.
By implication of the intent communication and subsequent obtaining of a nomination form, Hon.Alli, a former TIC chairman of Ilorin West Local Government Council, will be participating in the party’s screening exercise.
Hon. Alli who is widely called Mr. Nigeria had earlier declared his intention to contest the Ilorin West LGA chairmanship seat in a press statement he issued in Ilorin and subsequent declaration he made at his Ogidi Ward.
At the aspiration declaration event attended by APC elders and stakeholders, the party’s topnotch in the Ogidi Ward welcomed his decision to contest the chairman’s office and assured Hon. Alli of their support.
The APC stakeholders in the area who collectively appreciated his past achievements while he was the TIC Chairman of Ilorin West, said Mr. Nigeria’s six-month tenure was unprecedented considering the laudable record of achievements he won to his political profile.
Speaking with Journalists, shortly after the submission of the intent letter at the APC secretariat in Ilorin, Alli said as a staunch follower and admirer of the progressive leadership philosophy of Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, if allowed to contest and win the election, he will consolidate on the development drive of the governor at the grassroots level
Meanwhile, the Kwara People’s Magazine, published by Mr. Nigeria, will on Tuesday organize a Distinguished Media Roundtable on “Local Government Administration and Rural Development in Kwara State: Evaluating the Impact of AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq’s Administration “.
The public affairs forum which is jointly put together by the Nigeria Media Parliament, will feature presentation of notable edition of the magazine which highlights the achievements of Governor AbdulRazaq through the recently dissolved TIC Chairmen at the grassroots levels across Kwara State.
The event will hold on Tuesday, at the Nigeria Union of Journalists ( NUJ) Press Centre, Offa road, GRA, Ilorin, Kwara State,by 10:00 a.m.
Dignitaries and event functionaries expected to participate in the event include Speaker, Kwara State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Salihu Yakubu Danladi; Hon.Abubakar Abdullahi Bata, Kwara State Commissioner for Local Government, Chieftaincy and Community Development; Lawyer Kunle Suleiman, a high ranking APC stalwart; Alhaji Salman Mustapha Isowo, APC, State Secretary; Alhaji Abdulrazaq Jidda, Specialist Duties Adviser to Kwara Governor and Hon. Oba Magaji, Majority leader, KWHA among others.
