Governors of Oyo, Rivers, Abia, and Sokoto States, Seyi Makinde, Nysom Wike, Okezie Ikpeazu, and Aminu Tambuwal are currently holding a closed-door meeting with a former Governor of Ondo State, Dr Olusegun Mimiko as the latter is set to join the Peoples Democratic Party.
The meeting is said to be going on at the residence of Mimiko in Ondo, Ondo State on Thursday.
It was gathered that the essence of the meeting was to perfect plans on the return of the two-term governor of the Sunshine State to the PDP, his former party.
It was also learnt that Mimiko, who was a national leader of the Zenith Labour Party, would formally declare his intention to dump his immediate former party and join the PDP.
