A retired staff of the Kwara state Pilgrims Welfare Board, Alhaji Abdulraheem Ayinla Ajumobi Olohunoje has emerged the new Magaji (head) of the Olohunoje family, home and abroad, of Alore Area of Ilorin, the state capital.
To this end, the Emir of Ilorin, Alhaji Ibrahim Sulu Gambari, has directed his turbanning by the Imam Imale of Ilorin, Alhaji Abdullah AbdulHameed, at a prayer session scheduled for 8.00am Friday, 23rd of August, 2024, at the family compound.
Confirming Abdulraheem’s choice in a statement made available to journalists Wednesday in Ilorin by the elder and spokesman of the Olorunoje family, Alhaji Abdulkareem Olorunoje (Baba Kano), the family said the choice of the retried civil servant was arrived at, after a well-attended family meeting held at the Olorunoje family compound Saturday.
