The Help Women Foundation on Wednesday distributed foods stuffs to People Living With Disability (PWDs) in Kwara.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that this is part of the activities of the Foundation celebration of the Holy Month of Ramadan and Lenten Fasting through donation to the indigents.
Speaking to newsmen in Ilorin, Ms Ayobola Ipinlaiye, the Founder of the organisation explained that this is part of the Annual Ramadan programme of the Foundation.
She explained that this year the Ramadan coincides with Lent Fasting, and the donation of foods stuffs cuts across people of both Islamic and Christian religious faith.
Ipinlaiye pointed out that it becomes necessary to show care and compassion to those with less or nothing to eat.

She emphasised her passion to reach out to the less privileged women, most especially the PWDs in the society.
According to her, Nigeria’s cultural values teaches empathy, which promotes the desire to make positive difference in people.
Ipinlaiye appealed to well meaning Nigerians to reach out to the less privileged, adding just giving out a little from the what we have can make a difference.
“The Foundation started six years ago to basically take care of violated women, especially PWDs. It is not a big foundation, but I believe that with the little you have, a lot of difference can be made,” she said.
Ipinlaiye commended various donors who graciously reached out and contributed towards the humanitarian gesture.
In her appreciative remark, the Chairperson of PWDs in Ilorin West Local Government Area of Kwara, Mrs Lateefat Aromarado commended the Founder for the kind gesture.
She observed that some indigent PWDs could not afford food for the Holy month of Ramadan and the Lenten Fast, while saying the intervention is life saving.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that 30 PWDs received food stuffs including Rice, Beans, Guinea Corn, Sugar and Garri among others.
