The Vice Chancellor of the University of Ilorin, Prof. Wahab Olasupo Egbewole, SAN, has congratulated Mr Gabriel Ogunade on his re-election as the Chairman of the Kwara State Chapter of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR).
Prof. Egbewole, in a statement issued by the University’s Director of Corporate Affairs, Mr Kunle Akogun, described the re-election of Mr Ogunade as well-deserved and a super reward for his exemplary performance during his first term.
The renowned legal luminary also described Mr Ogunade as a tested and accomplished public relations practitioner, pointing out that he has also been a very good friend of the University.
The Vice Chancellor, who is also a Fellow of the NIPR, said that the decision of members of the Kwara State Chapter of the professional body to entrust Mr Ogunade with another term in office is a confirmation of the fact that he did very well in his first term.
Prof. Egbewole, who appreciates the support of the NIPR to the better by far University, urged Mr Ogunade and members of his new Executive Committee to do more towards preserving and expanding the existing cordial relationship between the University and the NIPR for mutual benefits.
The Vice Chancellor assured the NIPR of the University’s continuous support and cooperation at all times.
