The competition is aimed at sustaining the sports development programme of the Council, and in keeping with the pledge of the present NUJ’s Executives’ resolve to broaden recreational activities at the NUJ.

It would be recalled that the Council, in keeping faith with its pledge, constituted a Recreational Activities Committee, which is being led by Jimoh Bashir.

Prizes have been made available for winners, as well as consolatory prizes for the participants.
