The Kwara South Senatorial Candidate of the Social Democratic Party (SDP), in the 2023 Election, Prof. Wale Sulaiman, CON has expressed his appreciation to the over 100,000 Kwara Southerners who on February 25, 2023 went to their various polling units to peacefully cast their votes in the National Assembly Election.
According to a statement signed by himself, “My profound gratitude goes to the 24,265 voters who believed in my vision enough to choose me to represent them as Senator under the Social Democratic Party (SDP).
“I congratulate Senator Lola Ashiru of the All Progressive Congress (APC) for his successful re-election to the National Assembly. I urge him to do the necessary work required to bring dividends of democracy to all constituents of Kwara South.
“Finally, I would like to thank my family, friends and well wishers for their love and support over the past several months. My commitment to the advancement of Kwara South remains unshaken. I remain resolute in doing what is possible in my capacity to improve the standard of living for people in Kwara South”, he said.
