The Kwara State House of Assembly member, representing the Omupo State constituency, Hon. Barr. Ganiyu Folabi Salahudeen (AGF) has described the death of the ace broadcaster with Kwara state Radio Broadcasting Station (Radio Kwara), Mallam Adeyemi Qazeem as a great loss to the entire Kwarans and shall surely be missed by all.
Hon. AGF, who also commiserated with the family of the late ace broadcaster, who served in the Language Unit, Programme Department of the station, said that, “there is nothing to say other than to thank the almighty God”.
“As humans, we are pen in the hands of the creator who keeps or erases us at any time he wishes. I urged the entire family to see the demise of Mallam Qazeem as Allah’s wish”, he stressed.
While remembering those Mallam Qazeem left behind, Hon. Salahudeen prayed for the long life and prosperity of his wife and children, and other family members he left behind.
He however urged the family members, the entire NUJ family and close associates, including well-wishers, to see Mallam Qazeem as someone who has come, saw and played his part while alive, praying that Allah should reward him and place him in Aljannatu Firdawz.
While urging them to find solace with Allah, Hon. Salahudeen said, “As a journalist, Mallam Qazeem paid his dues in the proper delivery of the message of journalism to the public during his life”.
He also urged the general manager of the station, and members of the Union in the state to pray to Allah to keep everyone together and not to witness such again.
