An aspirant seeking to represent Share/Oke-Ode State Constituency at the Kwara State House of Assembly under the platform of the All Progressives Congress, Abdulrasheed Akogun, has been cleared by the party’s screening committee ahead of the primary election for the 2027 general elections.
Akogun was among the 53 aspirants cleared by the committee out of the 158 aspirants who obtained nomination forms across the state.
The APC aspirant called on stakeholders, party leaders, youths, and supporters across Ifelodun Local Government Area to remain united and committed to the party ahead of the polls.
According to him, the success of the APC in the constituency would depend largely on grassroots mobilization, unity among party members, and collective responsibility.
He stressed that political progress could only be achieved through cooperation, sincerity, and dedication among party faithful across the various wards and communities in the constituency.
Akogun described unity as a major factor in sustaining the strength of the APC in Kwara State, urging supporters to continue strengthening the party’s structure at the grassroots.
“The future of our constituency depends on our ability to work together with sincerity, dedication and mutual understanding. Unity remains the strongest weapon in politics and every supporter must play an active role in strengthening the party structure across all wards and communities,” he said.
He also expressed confidence in the people of Share/Oke-Ode Constituency, assuring them that the 2027 elections would usher in a new phase of development and political progress.
Akogun further reaffirmed his commitment to strategic engagement and inclusive leadership, maintaining that cooperation among stakeholders would be key to achieving victory for the APC in the constituency.
