Kwara Gov mourns statesman Alhaji Habeeb Elepo

Kwara State Governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has commiserated with the family of Ilorin-based businessman and community leader Alhaji Habeeb Elepo who died on Sunday.

In a statement on Sunday, the Governor described Alhaji Elepo as a quintessential statesman and a respected businessman who was known for his progressive bent, and his contributions to the community.

“On behalf of the government and the people of Kwara State, I send our heartfelt condolences to the family of Alhaji Elepo, his associates, and everyone who mourns him. He was a distinguished statesman, philanthropist, and a pillar support in the Otoge struggle. We will miss his elderly counsel,” the Governor said.

“I ask Allah to forgive his sins and grant him Al-jannah Firdaus and to keep his family in the best form of faith after his demise.”
