Omupo holds National AGM Dec 31

The Omupo Descendants Union(ODU) in Ifelodun Local Government Area of Kwara State, Nigeria has invited all sons and daughters(home and abroad) of the town to the 2022 National Annual General Meeting (AGM) scheduled to hold Saturday, December 31st, 2022 at the Town City Hall.

A statement issued by the General Secretary of the Union, Alhaji Bashir Ayodeji Idris, disclosed that the meeting will include the election of new executives as the tenure of the current National Executive Committee (NEC) will expire at the Annual General Meeting.

The statement explained that Committee members are expected to make adequate arrangements to invoke the relevant sections of Article VII of the constitution of the Union during the Meeting as scheduled on the meeting agenda.

The statement also urged all committee members to make further clarifications from the National President, if there are any.

Meanwhile, the statement however declared that the Development Summit postponement till the Easter holidays in 2023 was due to, make proper planning to achieve the desired results.

“Based on this development, all members of the BOT and NEC are required to attend the AGM. DVPs are implored to mobilize adequate attendance from their branches for the AGM”, the statement stressed.
